Discover the magic of the wheel! - Saturdays 10 - 2pm - Beginner welcome – Intensive 4h - Wheel workshop - Making 1 cup & 1 bowl using the potters' wheel - Personalize your piece w/ texture & more – Glazing session by the student> 120min incl. or glazing by your teacher w/ your color selection – max 7 participants – small groups - Classes primarily taught in English but your teacher also speaks Czech if needed. |

MAKING CLASS either on :
Saturdays morning Masterclass from 10-2pm // 4h
or Fridays afternoon Masterclass from 3-7pm // 4h
GLAZING CLASS
Friday evening Glazing (coloring) 6-8pm // 2h or glazing by the teacher
Summary // Students will learn how to center, open and pull up 2 pieces using the potter's wheel. They will also learn how to finish their work and personalize them with the help of the many textures and tools available at the studio.
Technical aspects:
- Learning to throw up into a cylinder. Control of the wheel's centrifuge force .
- Learning how to open a shape. Control of the curve.
- Adding decorative elements such as textures, carvings, stamps & relief
- Adding attachments such as handles or holders.
GLAZING
Students have 2 options for their painting session.
1. GLAZING BY THE STUDENT> Alternatively you can also come back to the studio and glaze your pieces yourself on a Friday between 6-8pm free of charge. The date will be decided together with your teacher.
2. GLAZING BY THE TEACHER> You will be able to choose among a large selection of colors and styles specially chosen for the studio. Your teacher will fire and glaze your pieces for you and they'll be ready for pickup in 2 weeks.
PICK UP
Students can come pick up their pieces on Saturdays between 4-8pm.
PRICE
The price is per person and includes everything from tutoring, materials, firings and glazing by the teacher.
LEVEL
We tailor the workshops according to your level. Anyone wanting to discover the wheel or improve their skills is very welcome :p

POLICY
Terra is a small local business that depends entirely on its classes and courses. If you decide to commit to a class please do make sure that you can attend.
In case of absence, we will try our best to accomodate the student in another workshop with the condition that we can find a replacement for the missed class. Full refunds are only possible with the condition that we can find a replacement for the missed class.
